Yummy Veg Manchurian Recipe

This ever popular Chinese dish is really easy to make. Veg Manchurians are yummy vegetable balls dipped in a equally yummy gravy. The Veg Manchurian recipe as the tittle suggests is a dry version. There is no gravy in the recipe on occasions i make this dry version as a side dish with veg noodles or mushroom noodles. The gravy based ones go great with roti or rice.

Ingredients of Meat Burger

1 Cabbage (Chopped) 1 Cup
2 Cauliflower (Chopped) 1 Cup
3 Onion (Chopped) 1 Cup
4 Carrots (Chopped) 1 Cup
5 Flour 2 Cup
6 Refined Oil 2 Table spoon
7 Ginger and Garlic 1 Table spoon
8 Soya Sauce 2 Table spoon
9 Chilli Sauce 2 Table spoon
10 Tomato Sauce 1 Table spoon
11 Cornflour 2 Table spoon

Cooking Instructions

  1. Firstly mix the cabbage cauliflower carrot slices and onion with the flour and salt.
  2. Add a few tablespoon of water and mix these ingredients.
  3. Heat up the refine oil in a pan.
  4. Make medium sized balls out of the vegetables and flour mixture deep fry the balls in oil.
  5. In a different pan 2 tablespoon of oil. Add ginger-garlic.
  6. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce chilli sauce and mix it well.
  7. Mix the cornflour with a little bit of water to make a thick paste.
  8. Add the paste to the ginger and garlic slices. Stir continuously.
  9. Now add the deep fried balls and mix well.
  10. Serve it hot.
